Questions about the pilot program

  • The pilot program is complimentary and tailored to your specific needs and work place. To get started book a demo meeting with us.

  • Yes, you choose which program would give you the best and relevant Proof-of-Concept at the end of pilot. We will create a VR environment to match your workplace and incorporate your process or training into that environment as an immersive, interactive and experiential lesson.

  • Every VR training session starts with an introduction and instruction of how to interact with objects and move through the environment. The lesson is always guided.

  • No. For the pilot we deliver everything you need for a successful pilot.

  • No problem. Send us your changes or ideas at anytime during the pilot and our team will implement them. Since Cloudberrie is cloud connected everything will be instantly updated on your end. We will coordinate with you so there is no conflict of timing.

  • Our Cloudberrie software makes it easy for us to create and distribute a tailored VR program for your pilot. Normal timeframe from we receive materials from you is 1 to 2 weeks.

  • It depends on the program or lesson you select from your course catalog. A LOTO process on one of your machine might done with a simple video taken with a mobile phone of the process, other means we often get are existing video lessons, PDFs and PowerPoints. We will also need photographs of the area and machines you want in you VR environment and measurements so we can build to scale. If you have CAD files we can convert those directly to VR.

  • Normally it is for 30-days.

Questions on software features and possibilities

  • Cloudberrie uses Real-time 3D graphics VR provides a more immersive experience that allows trainees to interact with the environment and objects within it, while video and photo-based VR is limited to pre-recorded actions.

Real-time 3D graphics VR is a simulation method that uses computer-generated images to create a virtual environment. This type of VR simulation provides a completely immersive experience that allows trainees to interact with the environment and objects within it. Real-time 3D graphics VR can be used for both hard and soft skills training.

  • Yes, iformation can be placed and accessed at anytime in the training session. Information can be written, images, video and audio.

  • The long term benefit and result from the training is improved performance and safety, by meny customers like to add a multiple choice test inside the VR environment either interspersed during the session or at the end. The responses will be logged and can be accessed through your reporting/admin site online that comes with your license.

  • Yes. Every license comes with a complete Content Management System (CMS) that gives you full control of the programs in your account. We will be happy to show you or someone on your staff how to use it.

Hardware related questions

  • The recommended system requirements are what Cloudberrie is benchmarked for and provides reasonable guidelines for developing large and complex projects using Cloudberrie. You can still get great performance with the minimum system requirements!

    Minimum system requirements:

    • OS: Windows 10

    • Processor: Intel i7-9700K

    • Memory: 16 GB RAM

    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or greater

    • Storage: 5 GB available space

    Recommended system requirements*

    • OS: Windows 10 or newer

    • Processor: Intel i7-10875H

    • Memory: 32 GB RAM

    • Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3070 or greater

    • Storage: 10 GB available space

  • Sorry… Cloudberrie does not support macOS, and therefore not Apple computers.

  • No, you will need a gaming-computer to run Cloudberrie (see hardware requirements here)

Cloudberrie hosts and distributes data to users via cloud storage, but the manipulation and rendering of 3D graphics from a Cloudberrie project is done locally on the computer you use. Nobody is quite there yet in terms of cloud computing and data transfer speeds for rendering real time 3D graphics for VR. But when we do get there, you will hear it from us.

  • You can use any VR headset that is compatible with SteamVR.
Cloudberrie uses a free third-party software called SteamVR to interface with current and future VR-hardware. If the VR headset is supported by SteamVR, you are good to go!

  • The Quest 2 as a standalone headset cannot run Cloudberrie. You can however stream content from a gaming computer to your Quest 2 headset.

  • We only provide the software.

You will find the hardware requirements at the bottom of this page.

3D technical questions

  • No, you cannot change the scale of an object in Cloudberrie. Objects have a fixed size and dimension corresponding to how they are defined in the original source file. The dimensions of objects in Cloudberrie’s asset library also corresponds to their size in the real world.

  • By default, the pivot points of all objects in the Cloudberrie asset library is places in the center of the object. The pivot point of objects that you import into Cloudberrie are retained from the source file.

It is not possible to edit the pivot points of objects in Cloudberrie. You will have to do it with a 3D modelling tool.

  • Yes, you can upload whatever models you’d like as part of your scene, as long as they are of our supported formats (.ifc, .stp, .gltf)

  • Cloudberrie currently support the following file types for automatic conversion: ifc, step, and gltf

  • We understand that everybody’s need to achieve a particular look on a model is unique. Uploading your own materials to Cloudberrie is currently not a feature that is available.

We do have selection of realistic material presets available in our library, and more are coming each week!

  • Using custom plugins for Cloudberrie is not currently available, but it is something we are looking at. If you have any feature needs or requests, we would love to hear from you. Drop us a message over at [email to relevant channel] and we will look into it!
